Perfume Room is an online-based business, which means we do not have a walk-in store, but we do deliver all over.
Please ensure that you have read and understand the “What are Reject Perfumes” page before making any purchase. No claims are made on products, and no false promises are given. Purchases are made at one’s own choice and discretion. These Designer fragrances are imported reject fragrances due to minor defects, but the ingredients contain the original notes/scents. We sell all our fragrances in their original branded packaging.
Disclaimers and Exclusions of Liability:
1.1. Designer Fragrances:
1.1.1. All fragrances are sold in their branded packages and bottles and are completely sealed. However, in certain cases, older designs of bottling and packaging may be present, resulting in slight deviations in packaging or product recipe.
1.1.2. Some of these fragrances have been in circulation for longer periods, so the scent may not last as long as those from the store, which you are used to (considering these fragrances are priced at a fraction of the retail store price). Please also note that certain countries like Dubai have different recipes and may include less alcohol in their formulas, resulting in a milder scent or shorter duration.
1.1.3. No comparison should be drawn between the fragrances purchased from us and those in retail stores due to the following reasons:
- The fragrances are not locally manufactured; they are imported from another country without the consent of the intellectual property right owner.
- The fragrances are sold to the public at reduced prices and without the usual guarantee and/or after-sales service.
- Different manufacturers use varying alcohol bases (as mentioned below).
- The fragrances are made in different factories compared to original South African store-bought fragrances and are imported into South Africa as reject stock.
- The fragrances are NOT labeled as fake fragrances, as fake fragrances are labeled incorrectly and with different names.

1.1.6. In some cases, caps may not be firm or tight.
1.1.7. In some cases, there may be incorrect branding.
1.1.8. In some cases, minor scratches may be present.
1.1.9. These fragrances are NOT imported from China.
1.1.10. These fragrances are NOT water or oil-based fragrances.

2.1. The quality of the fragrance may vary. Different brands do not have the same quality, as some brands have been in circulation longer than others, and we cannot guarantee which fragrance/brand has been in circulation for a longer period.
2.2. When purchasing a fragrance, the quality of packaging may also differ, as the packaging may be an older design, as designs change over time.
2.3. These are rejected fragrances. They do not meet store quality standards and are not store-purchased fragrances. However, these fragrances still offer great value for money, as they are not remakes made in China.
2.4. Imported fragrances from other countries may have different concentration levels than local fragrances found in retail stores. This is due to variations in manufacturing factories and the use of different alcohol bases worldwide, such as grape-based alcohol, potato-based alcohol (Vodka) in Europe, and grain-based alcohol in the USA.
2.5. Fragrances are often reformulated, resulting in different vintages and batches. Therefore, the same fragrance can vary in scent from one country to another, depending on its origin. In some cases, our fragrances may not last as long as the local fragrances you are used to.
2.6. While we do not claim that this will be the result of your purchase, it may occur in some cases.
2.7. These are imported fragrances, and we cannot guarantee the outcome of the fragrance since they are not purchased from a store but imported as reject fragrances. We do not physically assess each box individually to determine the cause of its rejection.
2.8. All fragrances are premium alcohol-based fragrances.
2.9. We cannot provide a guarantee that all fragrances purchased are free from defects, which is why the price has been significantly reduced. Purchases are made at your own risk, and these are considered rejected imported fragrances.
2.10.
